5th Global Conference on Parliamentary Studies

The Chair of Legislative Studies at the University of Luxembourg, in cooperation with the International Journal of Parliamentary Studies (Brill) and Széchenyi István University, invites academics, researchers and practitioners to the 5th Global Conference on Parliamentary Studies.

The conference explores how parliaments respond to rapid technological change, geopolitical instability, economic uncertainty and evolving citizen expectations while safeguarding democracy, fundamental rights and the rule of law.

  • 5 June 2026: Conference day at the European Parliament, Luxembourg
  • 6 June 2026: Optional social activities
